Process
Let's get Acquainted
After getting a few details about your needs and vision in a discovery video chat, we’ll make sure we’re a good fit for each other. We’ll then schedule a time to come out, sit down and together, discuss the project scope, budget bracketing, and all timelines.
Based on our initial meeting, we’ll develop a target budget, rough scope of work, and lay out the upcoming design process. We’ll make everything official with a signed Design Agreement/ Feasibility Study and a design deposit.
The Design Concept
With a signed Design Agreement/ Feasibility Study under way, our design team will work with you to prioritize the details of your project. We will evaluate your existing space and conditions, and get to work designing your dream space.
We will schedule a time for you to come to our office (or virtually) and see a presentation of your 2-D floor plans, sketched elevations and preliminary 3-D models so you can envision your new space.
The Pretty Stuff
This is the fun part! Upon entering Design Development, we get to dig into making your home yours.
Our design team will work with you in our Design Center as well as at our local suppliers to guide you through every choice that determines the look and feel of your home. You’ll be able to see, feel, touch, and choose all the elements to personalize your home, textures, colors, upgrades, styles and more! Our designers walk you step-by-step through the entire process to bring your style to life.
While the fun happens above, our Project Architect will create your Blueprints and all shop drawings will begin. 2-D plans and 3-D models will be refined with your selections so you can truly grasp how your new space will look from every angle.
The Nitty Gritty
After all designs and selections are approved, we’ll present and review the contract plans, scope, potential upgrades or future work and selections together and make it all official with your Build Contract and a construction deposit.
We will introduce you to our production staff in order to develop a plan for the start of construction and how we will work together for the duration of the project. We will run through the permitting process, obtain any additional surveys and discuss the project sequence, key dates, schedule, and review the scope of work.
Up, Up and Away
Construction begins! Our production team will get to work building your project with the utmost attention to detail and quality. Communication will be open and frequent with your production team. We will have set scheduled meetings at certain milestones along the way to ensure your project is on track and progressing according to plan, along with any additional meetings as required.
You will have 24/7 access to our online Client Portal with your schedule, job progression photos, important documents, the ability to request or approve change orders and make progress payments as well as a messaging interface.
